Karachi: Dr. Manoj Shah, the Third Vice President of Lions Club International, highlighted the expanding opportunities for Pakistani pharmaceutical manufacturers in Kenya, noting that four new plants are being set up to meet the growing demand. His remarks were delivered during a dinner held in his honor, which brought together notable figures from various sectors.
According to Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the event was organized by PMJF Lion Malik Khuda Bakhsh at a local gymkhana and featured key speeches from significant stakeholders in business and public service. Dr. Shah emphasized the potential for Pakistani companies to significantly impact Kenya’s pharmaceutical sector and expressed his commitment to fostering trade between Pakistan and other African nations.
The gathering also saw contributions from former Federal Minister Ms. Nilofar Bakhtiar, and other prominent business leaders, including Zubair Tufail, Khalid Tawab, and Zubair Chhaya. Additionally, Dr. Shah reiterated the Lions Club’s leading role in global humanitarian efforts, including their active involvement in flood relief operations in Pakistan.
