MoU Signed to Boost Sindh’s SME Sector Through Collaboration


Karachi: The Sindh Enterprise Development Fund (SEDF) and Sindh Small Industries Corporation (SSIC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing the development of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across the province.



According to Zameen.Com, the signing ceremony took place at the Sindh Secretariat, where both organizations outlined their commitment to fostering economic growth and job creation by supporting SMEs. SEDF, established by the Sindh Government, has already made strides in attracting private investment, while SSIC will offer industrial plots to facilitate the growth of small businesses.



Minister for Industries and Commerce, Jam Ikramullah Khan Dharejo, highlighted the significance of this partnership in driving industrialization, particularly in new industrial zones, which will provide opportunities for entrepreneurs and contribute to employment generation. Senior officials, including Secretary Industries and Commerce Yasin Shar Baloch and SEDF CEO Khizar Pervaiz, expressed optimism about the collaboration’s potential to promote economic development and empower local businesses.
