Ali Takesh, Managing Director of Philip Morris Pakistan and Afghanistan, emphasized the company’s dedication to sustainability, noting the cleanup drive as a reflection of their commitment to environmental stewardship. Takesh highlighted the collaborative effort with EYDS, marking it as a crucial step towards a cleaner and more sustainable future.

The cleanup involved participants divided into three teams, each responsible for a section of the beach stretching 1.5 to 2 kilometers. The collected recyclable materials are slated to be handed over to local startups specializing in innovative recycling solutions, ensuring the transformation of collected waste into useful materials and products.
