Azerbaijan Experts Collaborate with CDA to Revamp Islamabad’s Public Spaces

Islamabad: In a significant urban development initiative, Islamabad is set to collaborate with Baku to renovate key public spaces in the city. This collaboration stems from a Memorandum of Understanding between the two capitals, enhancing Islamabad’s aesthetic and recreational appeal.

According to Zameen.Com, a delegation of Azerbaijani horticulture experts recently met with Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Muhammad Ali Randhawa. The experts are tasked with the renovation of four prominent locations in Islamabad: Srinagar Highway, Shakarparian, Saidpur Village, and Melody Food Park. Chairman Randhawa has directed the CDA's environment teams to extend landscaping efforts across the city, with the engineering wing providing necessary technical support to the Azerbaijani team.

This international cooperation will also see Baku donating various horticulture tools and machinery to Islamabad. Furthermore, the Azerbaijani experts will set up a nursery in the city, aiming for a comprehensive enhancement of Islamabad’s green spaces. The Chairman emphasized the urgency of this beautification project and the need for clear timelines for the renovation of all designated areas.
