Exchange Rates Show Slight Fluctuations Over Two Days in Pakistani Market

Karachi, The foreign exchange rates in Pakistan saw minor changes over the span of two days, as per data released by the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan. The rates for major currencies like the USD, EURO, and GBP experienced slight adjustments, with the interbank rates for USD being reported only on the first day.

According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, on 28 June 2024, the buying and selling rates for the USD were recorded at 277.41 and 280.07 respectively. By the next day, these rates saw a minimal shift to 277.38 and 280.02. Similarly, the EURO rose from 293.35 on the buying side and 296.17 on the selling side to 293.93 and 296.77. The GBP also increased slightly from 346.75 to 347.12 for buying and from 349.98 to 350.45 for selling.

Other currencies such as the Japanese Yen (JPY), United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED), and Saudi Riyal (SR) maintained relatively stable rates over the two days. The interbank rate, which was 278.34 on the buying side and 278.54 on the selling side on the first day, was not reported on the following day.
