Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is taking significant strides in modernizing its operations by developing a new Property Management System (PMS) that will digitize over 85,000 property files. This initiative, part of a broader effort to enhance citizen services through digitization, was highlighted during a recent meeting chaired by CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa.
According to Zameen.Com, Chairman Randhawa has directed the acceleration of the digitization process. The forthcoming CDA’s Case Management System is designed to offer citizens access to over 130 municipal services through mobile devices. These services will include digital versions of birth and death certificates, property tax documents, and other essential municipal functions, facilitating easier and more efficient interactions with city services.
The CDA is also progressing with a digital parking project, with the necessary software already complete and hardware expected to arrive in Pakistan by the end of the month. To maintain the integrity of revenue collections from this digital parking system, a reputable third party will be engaged. The revenue from this initiative is earmarked for the construction, repair, and renovation of parking facilities, thereby enhancing the quality of service and infrastructure in Islamabad.
