Exchange Rates Show Slight Fluctuations in Pakistan’s Currency Market

Karachi: The currency exchange rates in Pakistan have shown minor fluctuations over consecutive days, as per the latest data from the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan. Notably, rates for major currencies like the USD, Euro, and GBP have seen marginal adjustments between July 3 and July 4, 2024.

According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the buying and selling rates for the USD on July 4 were slightly different from the previous day, adjusting from 277.70 to 277.75 for buying and from 280.25 to 280.23 for selling. Similarly, the Euro increased from 295.17 to 297.13 for buying and from 298.02 to 300.02 for selling. The GBP also rose, moving from 348.71 to 351.14 for buying and from 352.06 to 354.47 for selling.

These shifts reflect a continuing trend of small but noticeable changes in the foreign exchange market in Pakistan, impacting everything from import costs to overseas investments. Other currencies such as the Japanese Yen (JPY), United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED), and Saudi Riyal (SR) also showed slight adjustments.
