PCBDDA Completes Record-Breaking PKR 6.9 Billion Land Transfer in Lahore

Lahore: The Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA) has set a new record with the fastest transfer of prime plots valued at PKR 6.9 billion to the Pakistan Corporate Consortium (PCC) in Lahore, marking a historic milestone in the region’s real estate transactions.

According to Zameen.Com, the transfer involved a 23-kanal plot owned by the Pakistan Corporate Consortium REIT fund and represents a significant achievement for both CBD Punjab and PCC. This transaction also resulted in over PKR 310 million in taxes paid to the government treasury through the Board of Revenue (BOR), marking it as the largest plot transfer at auction price in Punjab’s history. It is noted as the first instance of a plot being transferred from CBD Punjab to PCC, with the BOR recording the largest transfer fee for a single purchase in the fiscal year 2023-2024.
