PCJCCI Advocates for Stronger Academic Ties Under CPEC Framework

Lahore: The Pakistan China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) emphasized the critical role of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in enhancing educational collaborations between Pakistan and China. During a think tank session at the PCJCCI Secretariat, leaders of the chamber highlighted the potential for adopting advanced educational policies and practices through increased cooperation under the CPEC initiative.

According to Pakistan China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry, PCJCCI President Moazzam Ghurki pointed out that CPEC is pivotal not only for economic and trade growth between Pakistan and China but also as a catalyst for the educational sector in Pakistan. Senior Vice President Fang Yulong remarked on China’s significant achievements in research and development, suggesting that CPEC could enable Pakistan to integrate more closely with the world’s largest economy and adopt effective educational strategies. Vice President Hamza Khalid noted that through CPEC, Pakistan could leverage Chinese advancements in technology and vocational training to address its unemployment issues.

Secretary General Salahuddin Hanif called for the initiation of new programs tailored to market demands and expressed hope that CPEC would generate substantial employment opportunities, particularly in educational fields relevant to economic development.
