KSE-100 breached the psychological resistance of 44,000 and closed at 44,111, gaining 183 points DoD after hitting an intraday high of 44,378. Traded volume stood at 108mn shares where TREET (3.0%), TELE (2.4%), EPCL (3.5%), KEL (0%) and GGL (2.0%) were the top contributors. Fertilizer sector remained in the limelight today over expectations of better offtake numbers for the quarter. Going forward, we recommend investors to stay cautious. A buy on dips strategy is advised in value stocks.
